DataSN US Auto Parts Data API Updated to 16.5 Million Parts with 88 Columns

One of DataSN's best car parts data API for the United States market is now updated to include 16,523,973 according to the latest screenshot of the DataSN data network.

As of Mar. 2019 this API has 246 auto makes, 30,920 models, 55,977 engines or trims, 481 part manufacturers / brands, and over 16.5 million part records classified in over 4,000 categories.
It currently has over 4.4 million part images with a total footprint of 125GB. And it's still growing and being updated as we speak.

DataSN is all about (almost) real-time data.

We will soon TRIPLE the pricing on ALL our data websites as it's been really hard for us to make ends meet.

Anyone interested in accessing this database and its APIs please subscribe to one of available plans now before the pricing triples.

For the past 4 years, affordable pricing doesn't seem to get more clients for DataSN, The Data Planet, or Usable Databases. We might as well be fine with less clients who will enjoy better data delivery and support.

So if you have anything in particular that you would like to get your hands on, do it now before the pricing goes up.

Feel free to reach us for any of your data needs and we would be glad to help. Thank you!

Datactory.com v2.0 -- DATASN.io

Datactory.com has come around for quite some time now but it's got only our legacy data collections from The Data Planet and Usable Databases which are served from a single server.

The problem with this one server data platform is that it's hard to scale with our growing magnitude and amount of data sets. Therefore we committed ourselves in developing the next version of the data platform, and now we are proud to announce the centrally distributed data source network DATASN.

DATASN is short for Data Social Network / Data Source Network / Data Skynet. It's a human powered intelligent network to continuously harvest and collect all data from the Internet in a highly atomic and schematic manner that makes reusing and redeploying data in any way possible.

Data becomes format-neutral thus can be re-implemented faster than ever. One row / object of data is immediately ported to formats like JSON, HTML, Excel, CSV, PDF, etc. that are usable by numerous interfaces and systems hassle free, be it Office, ERP, SAP, any programming language like Python or plain human consumption.

See this data set for example: https://datasn.io/p/84

You can see the size of the entire data set and the number of rows, columns, etc. This data set has also got a very rich images package for all the data records.

You can see some samples of this data set by accessing the API. To query for specific data rows in this data set, you need to log in and use the Online Query interface.

In the commits section / tab, you will also see a list of updates of this data set so you know it's being constantly incremented and updated.

Why we use Blogspot?

I figure it's about what to outsource and not do it yourself and reinvent the wheel. Especially when Google does a fantastic job in giving a unique landscape of the blog software. It's just good business to use Blogspot.com for our blog.

Wordpress is fine but it's way too powerful for most endeavors. It can be easy just like blogspot but it's really annoy sometimes to host your own site and worry about your own infrastructure. You got update from time to time and one time or another something breaks after the upgrade.

Anothing thing not appreciated by me about Wordpress is that it's too versatile and too advanced. It has so many features and you can easily make it another way, either by yourself or with a theme or a plugin. However most of them are bells and whistles and it costs time to make choices. Choices that don't matter that much. It may be a good thing to some people but to me, it's just distractions and unnecessarily abundant options.

But blogspot on the other hand does a good job coming up with a sophisticated blog system yet so simple an interface. A blog is a blog and it doesn't need that much to work or look at. People don't need that many features to get going at all. Blogspot simply keeps you on your own track of getting things done.

It may not be as polymorphic as wordpress but it's got just enough for a perfect blog. That's the beauty of it. Just enough of things put together for your writing, nothing more nor less. Wordpress on the other hand, has become an CMS rather than a blog, which obviously requires more technical knowledge and effort to maintain.

The final thing about blogspot is that Google manages the infrastructure so you have one less thing to worry about which is a tremendous bless if you ever had the experiences and frustrations of running your own website. It's chores that keep distracting you from your core business.

So there you go. Less is more. We choose Blogspot.

Hello World!
